Ranbir Kapoor to shoot a promotional song for Bombay Velvet

Ranbir Kapoor is all set to shoot a promo track for his upcoming film Bombay Velvet. Bombay Velvet which was supposed to release in November this year got pushed to May 2015 for several reasons. Director Anurag Kashyap has planned to shoot a special music video featuring Ranbir Kapoor. 

Ranbir has already given a go ahead to the video and even allotted his dates for the shoot. The song will be shot for four days in January. The song we hear will also feature Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar. The makers are currently conceptualising the song. It will be shot on a sweeping scale and will convey the general idea of the film. But it won’t be a part of the film’s narrative. It’s a music video which will be used for promotions.

Bombay Velvet will have Ranbir essaying the role of a street fighter whereas Anushka Sharma will essay the role of a jazz singer.
