Haider Preview: 5 reasons to watch the film
Ameet Bhuvan
After the delicious Dedh Ishqiya, Vishal Bharadwaj is back with his second offering this year, and he is
directing this one. If that is not reason enough for you to go watch Haider this weekend, take a look at our list here.
1. Vishal Bharadwaj
You might not like his films (Saat Khoon Maaf , Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola) or you may love his work (The Blue Umbrella, Makdi) but one thing is for sure; you cannot ignore Vishal Bharadwaj. One of the most respected directors of our times, his name attached to a movie ensures quality and artistic depth.
2. Shahid Kapoor
He is perhaps the most underrated of our current stars. While most of his outings on the big screen are misadventures, whenever he has done something of substance he has proven to be a force to reckon with. And who can forget the wonderful double take in Kaminey. Collaborating with Vishal once again he seems to be acing it up in the trailers of Haider and we look forward to another wow performance.
3. Shradha Kapoor
The newest sensation in tinsel town, this is Shraddha’s second outing this year after the smash hit Ek Villain. And yes, she is singing in this one as well.
4. Tabu
How long has been since one saw a master-class in acting? Well we are going to this weekend for Tabu is back. The veteran of power packed performances is all set to deliver yet another memorable act and you sure do not want to miss out on it.
5. The Shakespeare connection
Vishal And The Bard go a long way now, Maqbool and Omkara were a class apart. With Shakespeare’s Hamlet for its source material, Haider promises to be a treat for the senses.
