• I got tears while watching the movie... superb performance by our thalapathy.. Jiiva and Srikanth acting also too good... milestone movie in Vijay's career. Thanks for giving us this movie Shankar.

• I have seen 3 Idiots at least 40 times easily and I always had the fear that it would not appeal to people like me. Nanban is easily the best remake done ever. That's why Shankar is SHANKAR.

• Padam sema super. Shankar handled the script expertly. First half a bit slow. But, second half is excellent. Full of emotions. Sathyaraj, Sathyan, Jiiva, Srikanth has given their best. Songs are OK. But, BGM is too good. Finally, Vijay's aura and charisma is unbelievable. Hats off to Team NANBAN... 

• NANBAN. though, it is a remake, it is not like other Vijay flms. A good one with Shankar's touch and glad with no unnecessary mass scenes. Fantastic Entertainer after a long time. Every one has performed too good and espclly Vijay has rocked in reactions.
