Akshay Kumar's Gabbar release date rescheduled

Akshay Kumar and Shruti Haasan starrer 'Gabbar' directed by Krish was initially slated for release on January 23, 2015 for the Republic Day weekend. Interestingly Akshay Kumar's 'Baby' is also slated for release on the same date. The makers of Gabbar have now decided to postpone the release of the film to a later date. Gabbar will now hit the screens on April 3, 2015.

Akshay Kumar's Gabbar will now clash with Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Phantom which is also slated for release on April 3, 2015.

Gabbar is produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. The film is a remake of Vijaykanth starrer Ramanaa. It features Akshay Kumar and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles. Prakash Raj, Sonu Sood and Sunil Grover will play important supporting roles.The soundtrack and film score are composed by Sajid-Wajid.
