Coimbatore Multiplex BO Collections (Jan 5 2012)

The collection information taken from this multiplex(KG Cinemas) is consistent with the trend seen across the entire Coimbatore territory. The collection information was noted for a 7 day period of Dec 30 to  Jan 5). Here are some key observations from the data,

• Mounaguru's collections shot up by almost 250% compared to the first week's collection. Thanks to excellent word of mouth. Mounaguru is expected to have one more week of solid run before Pongal movies cut it short.
• Rajapattai's collection is dropping like a rock with shockingly steep fall. Rajapattai could end up becoming the biggest loss-maker for Vikram in many territories.
• Poraali is seeing small trickle of revenue flowing in as it crosses 35 days. By the end of the BO run, Poraali's collection of 20 Lakhs from this Multiplex center is roughly equal to that of much hyped Mayakkam Enna and Osthe.
