Mardaani Opening Weekend Box Office Collection

Rani Mukerji starrer Mardaani hit the screens on August 22. The opening weekend collection of the Yash Raj Films’ production venture is Rs.14.46 crore, read a statement. 

"Mardaani" started on a slow note on Friday, but due to positive word of mouth the business of the film had increased on Saturday and Sunday.

Friday - 3.46 cr

Saturday - 4.75 cr

Sunday - 6.25 cr 

Total - 14.46 cr

Mardaani directed by Pradeep Sarkar deals with the issue of human trafficking. Rani Mukerji plays a tough cop Shivani Shivaji Roy. She has been receiving accolades from all quarters for her performance in the film. The film is produced by Yash Raj Films.
