Daawat-e-Ishq release date postponed

Dawat-e-Ishq starring Aditya Roy Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra is a love story directed by Habib Faisal, set in the backdrop of the dowry system. Parineeti plays Gulrez Qadir, a Hyderabadi shoe salesgirl. Aditya Roy Kapoor plays Tariq "Taru" Haidar, a Lucknowi cook in Hyderabad. One important element in the film is food.

The film was initially slated for release on September 5. The makers have now pushed the release of the film to September 19. A statement was released by YRF, the dates were shifted to give more time to a unique marketing idea that is being adopted by Yash Raj Films. The film is  produced by Aditya Chopra. 

Priyanka Chopra Vs Parineeti Chopra avoid clash at the Box Office

Priyanka's Mary Kom is slated for release on September 5. With the release date of Daawat-E-Ishq being postponed from September 5 to September 19, the much expected clash between the two sisters at the Box Office has been avoided. 

Both Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra are busy with the promotions of their upcoming releases.
