Aamir Khan's PK poster removed from theatre


 

Aamir Khan recently unveiled the first look of his upcoming film PK. The poster of the film which features Aamir Khan standing nude with just a radio to cover his modesty set off a chain reaction. The poster which received has received mixed responses from the audience had created quit a stir in the online space.

 

As part of promoting the film, a talking standee of Aamir Khan's P.K. avtar, was placed at Gaiety-Galaxy theatres in Mumbai. The nude poster of Aamir however has not gone well with the audience especially women.  A group of women had reportedly approached the police with a complaint on Monday. The group had insisted that the "obscene image" should not be displayed in public.

 

Following the complaint, the police had asked the theatre owner to remove the talking standee, which was immediately removed from the place. 

 

PK is directed by Rajkumar Hirani. PK is his second film with Aamir Khan after the huge blockbuster hit film '3 Idiots'. Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput of 'Kai Po Che' fame and Boman Irani are also part of the cast. PK will hit the screens on December 19.
