Priyanka's Mary Kom to clash with Parineeti's Daawat-E-Ishq at the Box Office

Mary Kom featuring Priyanka Chopra in the lead role is a biopic based on Olympic winning boxer Mary Kom. The biopic on Kom is being directed by Omung Kumar and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Viacom 18. The film was initially slated for release on October 2. The release date has now been preponed to September 5. The first look of the film is expected to be released soon.

Interestingly, Parineeti Chopra's upcoming film 'Daawat-E-Ishq' where she shares the screen space with Aditya Roy Kapoor is also slated for release on September 5. It is going to be an epic clash between the Chopra sisters Priyanka Chopra Vs Parineeti Chopra at the Box Office this September again. 

Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra last year clashed at the box-office with their respective films, ‘Zanjeer’ and ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’. It was however Parineeti, who won the box-office race at that time. Both the films released on September 5 last year and this year again the release date of both Mary Kom and Daawat-E-Isqh has been locked as September 5.
