Haider crosses 1 million views in 1 day

The trailer of Shahid Kapoor's upcoming film 'Haider' has created waves on the net and has clocked more than 1 million views in just a day. Haider trailer was released on July 8 and it crossed a million views in just 24 hours. The trailer has received 1,508,968 hits on Youtube and still counting. It has got around 10,366 likes so far.

The most awaited trailer has received very good response from the audience. Haider directed by Vishal Bharadwaj stars Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Kay Kay Menon, Tabu and Irrfan. The film is based on William Shakespeare's Hamlet and is set in Kashmir. It is the third installment of Vishal Bhardwaj's Shakespearean trilogy after Maqbool (Macbeth) and Omkara (Othello). Shahid Kapoor is co-producing Haider along with Bhardwaj and UTV. The film releases on October 2, 2014.
