Snow Storm disrupts Shamitabh film shoot

Shamitabh starring Amitabh Bachchan, Dhanush and Akshara Haasan in the lead roles is directed by R. Balki of 'Cheeni Kum' and 'Pa' fame. The team had recently left to Finland to shoot some portions of the film. Dhanush was part of the Finland schedule and a song was shot in this exotic location.

The team was shooting at Lapland, the largest region of Finland. Shamtabh is the first Bollywood movie to shoot in Finland. The Shamitabh team faced trouble while filming in Finland as a heavy snow storm hit the area. The incident took place around 3am in the morning.

The crew were stuck in the mountains and were unable to get help from any vehicle or chopper due to the unexpected storm. The entire crew along with Dhanush,director R.Balki, choreographers Bosco Caesar and 33 people including 15 women had to walk for about 10 kms to reach a safe destination. 

Director R. Balki is happy that everything ended well. He revealed that it was a very challenging and an unforgettable experience for him.
