Biggest ever release for Aamir Khan Dhoom 3 in China

Dhoom 3 starring Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Uday Chopra hit the screens on December 20, 2013. The film was a blockbuster hit. Dhoom 3 broke multiple box office collections records in India as well as overseas markets like United States, Australia, New Zealand and Pakistan.

Dhoom 3 took the box office by storm, garnering Rs 100 crore in the opening weekend. It entered the Rs 200-crore club within three weeks. Internationally, too, the film broke records by collecting Rs 61 crore in its first weekend. It made a total collection of Rs 165 crore in overseas markets.

Dhoom 3 is now all set to rock China. The film will be dubbed in Mandarin and release on July 25 in China. Yash Raj Films is planning to release the film across 2,000 screens in more than 400 Chinese cities. 

This will be the biggest release of a film from India in the international market. Films such as Krrish 3 and Chennai Express were released at 700 to 750 screens across global markets.
