2 States crosses the 100-crore mark at box-office

Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt-starrer '2 States' has finally made its entry into the prestigious 100 crore club by making a whopping Rs 102 crore at the box-office. Though it has been just four weeks since the movie has been released, it has already declared as a hit. 

Karan Johar and Sajid Nadiadwala's joint production 2 States, which has been made with a whopping budget of Rs 36 crores, has become the Blockbuster success of the year 2014. The film released in over 2000 screens. This happens to be the first film for Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, third film for Karan Johar and the second film for Sajid Nadiadwala to cross Rs 100 crore grosser.

2 States is a romantic comedy film directed by Abhishek Verman based on the 2009 novel of the same name written by Chetan Bhagat.
