The shooting of Velai Illa Pattathari (VIP) is in the verge of completion. Dhanush and Amala Paul play the lead roles directed by cinematographer turned director Velraj. The film marks the 25th film of Dhanush. Music by Anirudh. The trailer of the film will be out this month.

The audio of VIP was launched in February and the songs are already topping the charts. The film is produced by Dhanush's Wunderbar Films. The film is reportedly a comedy on rising unemployment and the growing frustration among the youth.
