Santhanam confirms doing Rajnikanth's Lingaa

Lingaa starring Rajnikanth, Anushka and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles is directed by KS Ravikumar. The film shooting is progressing at a brisk pace in Mysore. 

The makers had approached two top comedy actors Vadivelu and Santhanam to act in the film. The film spans across two different periods. Santhanam and Vadiveluhave been approached for the different segments of the film. Santhanam has confirmed doing Lingaa in his microblog. He tweeted, "Feeling proud to be in Linga" However it is not known whether Vadivelu will also be joining Lingaa. 

Sonakshi has completed her portions in the first schedule. Anushka is yet to begin shooting for Lingaa. AR Rahman is scoring the music. Lingaa is produced by Rockline Venkatesh.
