Trisha to join the cast of Thala 55?

The first schedule of Ajith Gautham Menon project has been wrapped and the team is set to begin the next schedule on May 14. The shooting will happen in Chennai. The leading lady Anushkha was also part of the first schedule. 

Buzz is that Trisha has been approached for a pivotal role in the film. She has heard a narration of her role and is likely to join the sets from the second schedule which begins on May 14. However there is no official word from the makers. 

If Trisha is getting on board, this will be the fourth film she will be sharing screen space with Ajith. She had earlier worked with him in Kreedam, Ji and Mankatha.
