Kaththi shooting to resume after a break

The shooting of Kaththi is progressing at a brisk pace at Chennai. A huge set worth 1.25 crores has been erected at Pushpa Gardens in Valasaravakkam. Most of the indoor scenes will be shot here. The team will taking a week's break before resuming the next phase of shoot in Chennai. After the break, the team has planned to shoot an high voltage action sequence.

Vijay is essaying dual roles in Kaththi. Samantha is playing the leading lady. The NEP girl had recently celebrated her birthday on the sets of Kaththi.

The film is directed by Murugadoss. Neil Nitin Mukesh, Tota Roy and Ethir Neechal Sathish play supporting cast. Anirudh is scoring the music and has completed four songs so far. Kaththi produced by Ayngaran International and Lyca Productions is slated for Diwali release.
