Expensive Prison set erected for Purampokku

Purampokku starring Arya, Vijay Sethupathy and Shaam in the lead roles is directed by SP Jhananathan of 'E' and 'Peranmai' fame. Karthika Nair of Ko fame plays the female lead. The film is produced by UTV Motion Pictures jointly with SP Jhananathan's Binary Pictures.

The film shooting is progressing at a brisk pace. An expensive prison set worth 2 crores is being erected for the next schedule of shoot which will begin by the second week of April. The set is created by Art director Selvakumar of Madrasapattinam fame. Major portions are to be shot in this set featuring all the four lead actors. The prison sequence will be shot for around 40 days. 

The team had recently shot a chase sequence in Bangalore with the lead actors Arya and Shaam.
