Modha Rathiri, starring Rishikanth and Anishma Anilkumar, has been confirmed for an August 21 worldwide theatrical release. The makers unveiled a first look poster showing the lead pair in wedding attire, with the caption "You're cordially invited to witness the chaos."

Directed by debutant Raja Karuppasamy, the rural comedy drama unfolds over a single chaotic wedding night filled with surprises and lies that change everything. The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers — their third Tamil production after Good Bad Ugly and Dude — with Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar backing the project.

The ensemble cast includes Chetan, Bagavathi Perumal, Abdool Lee, Banupriya, Sumithra Devi and others. Bharath Sankar composes the music, with Surendran Paranjothi on cinematography and Ashok Arjunan editing.
