Dhruv Vikram's next film, tentatively titled DV4, was launched with a pooja ceremony on Thursday. Directed by debutant Karan Arvind Kumar, a former assistant on Adithya Varma and Sorgavaasal who also co-wrote Karuppu, the film is described as "an out and out commercial entertainer." Mythri Movie Makers produces, marking their fourth Tamil venture after Good Bad Ugly and Dude.
While plot details remain under wraps, the film is widely expected to feature Dhruv in a sports role likely kickboxing, following hints from his own social media posts. Prithvi Pandiarajan and Sai Deena are also part of the cast. The technical crew includes cinematographer Viki, editor Jayasuriya and stunt choreographer Vikram Mor.
Present at the launch were Mythri producers Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar, along with directors Adhik Ravichandran and Keerthiswaran. Sai Abhyankar is scoring music for the film.
