The confirmation also falls on Deepa Balu's birthday, adding a celebratory note to the announcement. The timing puts to rest speculation about Deepa's return to the series, which had been triggered by a cryptic social media post referencing goodbyes. Deepa has since clarified that her character Reena is simply changing hospitals — from RK Hospital to AM Hospital — rather than exiting the show.

Heart Beat's first two seasons each ran for 100 episodes, with Season 3 now set to continue the medical drama on July 30.
