Actor Ravi Mohan's residence has come under police scrutiny following a complaint to the control room alleging that two domestic workers and a minor boy employed at his home were being confined inside the premises.

Police intervened and advised that no individual can be detained or privately questioned in an unlawful manner. An inquiry is currently underway to establish the facts. The actor's side, however, claimed the workers had been found to have committed theft and were being questioned in that context. Ravi Mohan has since filed a separate theft complaint at the Neelangarai Police Station, for which a CSR copy has been issued.

The development comes as Ravi Mohan continues to be embroiled in ongoing divorce proceedings with his estranged wife Aarti Ravi.
