Arya's 40th film, directed by Nikhil Muraly of Pranaya Vilasam fame, has wrapped principal photography. While the production banner The Show People is yet to make an official confirmation, behind-the-scenes posts from co-stars Nikhila Vimal and Vaishnavi Chaitanya strongly hinted at a shoot wrap.
"A wrap full of laughter and love," Vaishnavi wrote, while Nikhila kept it simple: "Going home. See you in theatres." The film, produced by Arya's wife Sayyeshaa and Kishore T, was announced on Arya's birthday last year with the caption "Love takes its first step," pointing to a romantic premise. Nikhil Muraly reunites with his Pranaya Vilasam writers Jyothish M and Sunu AV, with Halitha Shameem credited for dialogue and additional screenplay.
GV Prakash, who is scoring the music, cheekily asked the cast on social media whether they had filmed the songs yet, to which Arya responded that they had attempted the popular Brok hook step, drawing a laugh from fans. The technical team also includes cinematographer Jeeva Sankar, editor Binu Napoleon, and stunt choreographer Stunt Silva. A title and release date are expected to be announced soon.
