In a landmark moment for Tamil cinema, the trailer for DC, director Lokesh Kanagaraj's acting debut, is set to have its world premiere at the prestigious Cannes International Film Festival on May 15. Directed by Arun Matheswaran and backed by Sun Pictures, the film marks Tamil cinema's presence at one of the world's most celebrated film festivals.

Lokesh plays Devadas, a man living in a troubled world, alongside Wamiqa Gabbi as Chandra and Sanjana Krishnamoorthy in a key role. Previous glimpses have hinted at an intense action drama as Devadas's path crosses with both women in unpredictable ways. Extended cast and plot details remain under wraps.
