Radikaa Sarathkumar's Thaai Kizhavi has achieved yet another milestone — completing a 75-day theatrical run with a total box office collection of Rs 90 crore. Made on a reported budget of Rs 10 to 20 crore, the film has emerged as the second highest-grossing Tamil film of 2026, behind only Sivakarthikeyan's Parasakthi.

Directed by Sivakumar Murugesan and produced by Sudhan Sundaram's Passion Studios and Sivakarthikeyan's SK Productions, the film follows Pavunuthaayi — a stern, foul-mouthed old woman her village wants dead, including her own family — until they realise her true value. The film is currently streaming on JioHotstar.
