The makers of Dhanush's upcoming period heist drama Kara have unveiled the film's third single, Ayya Ayya — and it is an emotionally heavy one. Composed and sung by GV Prakash Kumar, the song is a melancholic ode from a regretful son to his father, with Yugabharathi penning the heartfelt lyrics. The video weaves together scenes from the film alongside behind-the-scenes moments.

GV Prakash continues his strong run with Dhanush, following their collaborations on Nilavukku En Mel Ennadi Kobam (2025) and Idli Kadai (2025).

Kara, directed by Vignesh Raja — his sophomore venture after Por Thozhil — is set in Ramanathapuram during the early 1990s, against the backdrop of the fuel crisis triggered by the Gulf War of 1991. Dhanush plays Karasaami aka Kara, with the cast featuring Mamitha Baiju, Jayaram, KS Ravikumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Karunaas, Sreeja Ravi, Prithvi Pandiarajan, and MS Bhaskar. The film releases on April 30.
