The countdown to Karuppu is getting louder! The makers of Suriya's upcoming film have announced that the audio launch will take place on April 26 at Solaimalai College of Engineering in Madurai, with composer Sai Abhyankkar set to perform live at the event.

Directed by RJ Balaji and releasing on May 14, Karuppu reunites Suriya with Trisha — a pairing fans last saw together in Aaru (2005). The supporting cast features Yogi Babu, Indrans, Sshivada, Swasika, Natty, Supreeth Reddy, and Anagha Maya Ravi.

The technical crew includes composer Sai Abhyankkar, cinematographer GK Vishnu, editor Kalaivanan, art director Arun Venjaramoodu, and stunt choreographer Vikram Mor. The film also marks a reunion for Suriya with his NGK producers SR Prabhu and SR Prakash Babu of Dream Warrior Pictures — who also reunite with RJ Balaji after Sorgavaasal.

On the horizon, Suriya has Vishwanath & Sons with director Venky Atluri opposite Mamitha Baiju, and his 47th film with Aavesham director Jithu Madhavan, starring Nazriya Fahadh and Naslen.
