Actor-producer Legend Saravanan has expressed strong confidence in his upcoming film Leader, directed by RS Durai Senthilkumar. Speaking at the film’s trailer and audio launch event, Saravanan revealed that Dhanush and Vetri Maaran recently watched the film and praised it as “grand” and “extraordinary.”

Expressing confidence in the project, he said the team firmly believes in the film’s potential and added that Leader has all the ingredients to emerge as a major commercial success, on par with films like Vikram, Leo, and Jailer.

Talking about the film’s premise, Saravanan shared that the story revolves around an innocent father and his daughter, whose lives are disrupted after a powerful gangster enters their world. He also praised director Durai Senthilkumar for crafting a fresh and engaging narrative suited for contemporary audiences.

The actor further highlighted that composer Ghibran was deeply impressed after watching the film, even spending time discussing it with the director. He noted that the film avoids unnecessary commercial elements, with music that stays true to the story. The film features an ensemble cast including Shaam, Andrea, Santhosh Prathap, Payal Rajput, Lal, Prabaharan, Amirtha Aiyer, VTV Ganesh, Iyal, Aishwarya, Mariam George, Nisha, and Adithya Kathir.

Leader is set to hit theatres on April 3.
