The title of Rio Raj’s upcoming film has been officially revealed as Maddy, with the makers unveiling an intriguing first-look poster. Directed by debutant Karthikeyan BK—who has previously assisted in films like Master, Varisu, and Leo—the film stars Saniya Iyappan as the female lead.

The title poster features a cricket stadium setting, with two chairs placed in the gallery and jerseys labeled “Sachin” and “Anjali,” hinting at a story possibly rooted in sport and relationships.

The film also stars Singampuli, Aju Varghese, and RJ Vijay in key roles. Backed by Kalai Arasu under the Roll Time Studios banner, Maddy marks Rio’s seventh outing as an actor and Karthikeyan BK’s directorial debut.

On the technical front, the film has music by Dhibu Ninan Thomas, cinematography by Praveen K Pothan, and editing by Lawrence Kishore. Further details about the film are expected to be announced soon.
