Sudha Kongara–directed Parasakthi, starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead, has taken a crucial step forward on the release front. The film has been certified U/A in India after undergoing 25 cuts/modifications/deletions, clearing the way for its theatrical release on January 10, 2026.
The certified runtime of Parasakthi is 162 minutes 43 seconds (2 hours, 42 minutes, 43 seconds).
Set in the 1960s, Parasakthi is a period action drama inspired by real-life anti-Hindi agitations in Tamil Nadu. The film also stars Ravi Mohan, Sreeleela, and Atharvaa, with GV Prakash Kumar composing the music.
