Sudha Kongara directed Parasakthi starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead has taken a crucial step forward on the overseas front. The film has been certified MA15+ in Australia, paving the way for its theatrical release there on January 10, 2026.

Home Screen Entertainment, Parasakthi's overseas distributor, has also announced that the Digital Cinema Package (DCP) for Parasakthi has been delivered to Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand; These regions are now fully set to open advance bookings, and finalize show schedules.

Also starring Ravi Mohan, Sreeleela, and Atharvaa, Parasakthi is a period drama action set in the 1960s, and has been generating strong buzz for its the real life Tamil political history it is based on.
