Speaking at a recent media event, Vijay Sethupathi opened up about his role in Arasan, directed by Vetrimaaran. The actor revealed that he is completely in the dark about his character in the film.

“I don’t know anything about my role in #Arasan. Vetrimaaran sir told me that while writing the character, I came into his imagination. I was happy to hear that and didn’t ask anything further — I just said I’d do it.

I really like his writing and body of work, and I feel I can learn a lot subconsciously by working with directors like him. I don’t even know how many days I’ll be shooting — Vetrimaaran sir will take care of everything,” said Vijay Sethupathi.

 

The candid statement has only heightened curiosity around Arasan, which already carries strong expectations due to the Vetrimaaran–STR combination.
