Actor–politician Kamal Haasan has reacted to questions about Vijay’s political plunge and the launch of his TVK party, especially regarding the identification of political rivals. When asked about what advice he would offer Vijay, Kamal was clear and humble in his response.

“I’m not in a position to give advice,” he said. “I never took advice because it never came to me at the right moment. Maybe this is not the right moment to advise my brother, Vijay. Experience is a better teacher than any of us.”

Shifting focus to his own political journey, Kamal Haasan emphasised that his fight goes beyond electoral opponents.

 
“My enemy is bigger than what most parties would dare to identify. My direct enemy is casteism. It has to be dealt with deliberately and quickly. That’s my enemy. It’s a big enemy. My work is big — and so is yours.”

Kamal’s remarks underline a broader ideological battle he hopes to address, even as Tamil Nadu’s political landscape continues to evolve with new entrants like Vijay.
