The highly anticipated Suriya-starrer Karuppu has taken a major leap, with Phars Films bagging its overseas distribution rights.

Directed by RJ Balaji, Karuppu is shaping up to be a masala entertainer set around a courtroom drama, featuring Suriya in a commanding role. The film’s first single, ‘God Mode’, has been well received for its vibrant Gen Z energy and catchy sound.

On the technical front, Karuppu brings together a strong crew — Sai Abhyankar composing the music, Anbariv handling action choreography, G. K. Vishnu behind the camera, and Praveen Raja in charge of editing.
