After the critically acclaimed Parking (2023), which won the National Film Award for Best Tamil feature, and Best screenplay, lead actor Harish Kalyan is now gearing up for his next release titled Diesel on October 17, 2025. Diesel trailer was unveiled on Friday, and the video reveals Harish Kalyan's titular character in a mass action role, fighting the powerful in the backdrop of petrol and diesel mafia. 

Diesel also stars Athulyaa Ravi, Vinay Rai, Sai Kumar, Ananya, Karunaas, Bose Venkat, Ramesh Tilak, Kaali Venkat, Vivek Prasanna, Sachin Kedhekar, Zakir Husain, Thangadurai, Maaran, KPY Dheena, Apoorva Singh, among others. 

The movie is written and directed by Shanmugam Muthusamy, and Diesel marks the filmmaker's first official release (His previous ventures remain unreleased). Jointly produced by Third Eye Entertainment, and SP Cinemas, Diesel has Dhibu Ninan Thomas for music, M.S.Prabhu, Richard M.Nathan for cinematography, Stunt Silva, Rajasekhar for action, and San Lokesh for edits.
