Bison: Kaalamaadan starring Dhruv Vikram in the lead is an upcoming sports drama written and directed by Mari Selvaraj, that is set to hit theater screens on October 17, 2025. Latest update on the movie is that Bison trailer is releasing on October 12, 2025 (Sunday), just 5 days ahead of the film's release. 

Applause Entertainment,  a venture of the Aditya Birla Group of Companies, has produced Bison alongside director Pa Ranjith's Neelam Productions. Five Star Creations is the Tamil Nadu distributor of Bison: Kaalamaadan. 

Bison's OTT rights are with the Netflix streaming platform. Bison: Kaalamaadan is a biographical film based on the life of Kabbadi player turned politician Manathi P Ganesan. In 1995, Manathi P Ganesan became the second Kabbadi player from Tamil Nadu to receive the Arjuna award, the second-highest sporting honour in India, and to date no other Tamil Nadu player has received an Arjuna award for Kabbadi.
