A psychological action thriller written and directed by AR Murugadoss, Madharaasi starring Sivakarthikeyan, Rukmini Vasanth in the lead released in theaters on September 5, 2025, and went on to become Sivakathikeyan's fourth Rs. 100 Cr+ blockbuster after Doctor (2021), Don (2022), and Amaran (2024). 

The film is now all set for a digital premiere, and as reported before, Madharaasi's OTT release date is October 3, 2025. Madharaasi will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and in Hindi as Dil Madharaasi. 

With Anirudh Ravichander for music, Sudeep Elamon for cinematography, and Kevin Kumar for action, Madharaasi also stars Biju Menon, Vikranth, Vidyut Jammwal, Shabeer Kallarakkal, Aadukalam Naren, Thalaivasal Vijay, Vinodhini Vaidyanathan, Santhana Bharathi, Rishi Rithvik, J Livingston, among others. 

Madharaasi follows the story of a troubled young man named Raghu (Sivakarthikeyan), who is enlisted by a wounded NIA officer (Biju Menon) when a ruthless arms syndicate floods Tamil Nadu with illegal weapons. How a dangerously delusional Raghu infiltrates the enemy’s stronghold—forcing him to confront both his fractured mind, and the deadly empire threatening his homeland, is what forms the rest of the movie. Madharaasi's runtime is 2 hours 47 minutes 33 seconds.
