Idli Kadai written, directed, co-produced, and headlined by Dhanush is an upcoming Tamil language drama film that is set to release in theaters on October 5, 2025. It has now been officially announced that the Idli Kadai trailer release date is September 20, 2025 (Saturday). 

A new poster was unveiled by Idli Kadai makers for the film's trailer announcement, and it features vintage Dhanush, Rajkiran in black and white. Idli Kadai stars Dhanush as Murugan, Nithya Menen as Kayal, Arun Vijay as Ashwin, Sathyaraj as Vishnu Varadhan, R. Parthiban as R. Arivu, Shalini Pandey as Meera, P. Samuthirakani as Marisamy, and Rajkiran as Sivanesan. 

Dhanush's Wunderbar Films, and Aakash Baskaran's Dawn Pictures have jointly produced Idli Kadai. The technical crew of this film includes GV Prakash Kumar for music, Kiran Koushik for cinematography, and Prasanna GK for edits.
