Lokah Goes Pan-India: Bollywood Stars Celebrate Milestone 200 Crore Success

India’s first all-female superhero film, Lokah: Chapter One – Chandra, starring Kalyani Priyadarshan and Naslen and presented by Dulquer Salmaan, has taken the box office by storm. The film has crossed ₹200 crore, becoming the highest-grossing female-led film in South Indian and Malayalam cinema.

Kalyani plays “Chandra,” India’s first big-screen female superhero, a character inspired by Kerala folklore and modern social themes. The film is being praised for breaking stereotypes and redefining the superhero genre.
