Its has been 22 years since actors Suriya and Jyotika, now married and parents to two children, starred together in a Gautham Vasudev Menon directed hit movie titled Kaakha Kaakha (2003). Kaakha Kaakha is a production venture of Kalaipuli S Thanu's V Creations, and the Tamil film producer marking Suriya's 50th birthday on July 23, 2025 released a lyric video version of the song Uyirin Uyirae from Kaakha Kaakha.

Uyirin Uyirae is composed by Harris Jayaraj and marked the first of his many signature hits that opened with gibberish, and not the usual scat sounds. The impact Uyirin Uyirae created as a result on the Tamil cine audience is only for the Kollywood history books, so it didn't come as unusual that Thanu chose to re-release Uyirin Uyirae for an occassion as special as Suriya's 50th birthday.
