Coolie starring Rajinikanth in the lead is an upcoming action thriller that is set to release on August 14, 2025 in Tamil and dubbed Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada versions. Coolie's first single Chikitu composed by Anirudh Ravichander dropped on June 25, 2025 in Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu languages is already all the craze. 

At this time, it has been revealed that Coolie Telugu theatrical rights is much in demand in the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh film market. Notably, Telugu star Jr NTR is also seeing the release of his Telugu dubbed Bollywood movie War 2 on August 14, 2025. However Coolie seems to be more in demand with at least 6-7 Telugu distributors vying to present Coolie in Telugu states. 

Rajinikanth's 2.0 (2018) holds the record for the highest price for a dubbed film, the Telugu rights were sold for. Buzz has it that Coolie is most likely to record the second highest price with distribution rights going between Rs, 48 Cr. - Rs. 50 Cr. 

Leading Telugu distributors Asian Suniel Narang, Suresh Babu, and Dil Raju are said to be the front-runners to close the Coolie Telugu deal, under their banner Asian Suresh Entertainment, and Sri Venkateswara Creations.
