Actor Vimal Begins Shoot for Rural Comedy with Ponman Makers in Karaikudi

Actor Vimal has joined hands with the makers of the Malayalam hit "Ponman" for a new rural comedy entertainer, which began with a pooja ceremony in Karaikudi. The film marks the Tamil debut of Ajith Vinayaka Films, known for producing successful Malayalam movies. It is directed by newcomers Elson Eldhose and Manish K. Thoppil, with the story set in a village and packed with humor.

Vimal plays the lead role, with Mulai Arasi as the female lead. The cast also includes ‘Viduthalai’ Chethan and ‘Paruthiveeran’ Saravanan. The film is written by Basil George and Akash V. Paul, with screenplay by Sudhi Krishna, cinematography by Giju Sunny, and music by Justin Prabhakaran. Filming will be done in a single schedule around Karaikudi.
