VetriMaran's Vada Chennai Cast and Crew Announced

Vetrimaran's Vada Chennai(working title) is a gangster movie that happens in and around north Chennai. The movie is produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri's Cloud Nine. Andrea will be donning a pivotal role. The Music will be composed by GV Prakash kumar who has already worked twice with Vetrimaaran in Polladavan & Aadukalam. National award winning Kishore is the editor of the movie. Velraj is the cinematographer. 

A surprise package in the team is the popular Telugu actor Rana Daggubatti who will be making his entry to Tamil cinema with this movie. Rana has done 2 films in Telugu with his first film Leader becoming a critically acclaimed hit film. He has also done a Hindi film Dum Maaro Dum this year which also had a decent run at the Box office. He is also well versed in Tamil since he was born & brought up in Chennai like many other heroes in the Telugu film industry. He is currently working with Ram Gopal Varma's next film Department where he does a role of a Cop. 

Vetrimaran is expected to start shooting in March 2012 as Simbhu will wrap up his Vettai Mannan.
