Akhanda 2 Teaser Unveiled Ahead of Balakrishna's Birthday

The teaser of Akhanda 2: Thandavam, the sequel to the 2021 Telugu hit, was released on June 9, 2025, just before Nandamuri Balakrishna’s birthday. The film is directed by Boyapati Sreenu and promises a powerful action-packed experience.

The teaser shows Balakrishna in a sage-like avatar in the Himalayas, holding a trident and performing intense action scenes. The visuals carry a strong divine feel, with a striking background score by SS Thaman.

Akhanda 2 is produced by Raam Achanta and Gopi Achanta under the 14 Reels Plus banner and presented by Tejaswini, Balakrishna’s daughter. The film features Pragya Jaiswal and Samyukta Menon as female leads, with Aadhi Pinisetty as the villain.

The movie is set to release in theatres on September 25, 2025, during the Dussehra festival, and will clash with Pawan Kalyan’s OG at the box office.
