Madras Matinee Trailer Out; Film to Hit Theatres on June 6, 2025

The trailer of the upcoming Tamil film Madras Matinee has been released, offering a glimpse into a heartwarming drama that explores the life of the middle class. Written and directed by Karthikeyan Mani, the film follows an aging sci-fi writer who is challenged to write about the common man. He begins to pen the story of Kannan, an auto driver, and slowly uncovers the beauty and struggles in ordinary life.

The film stars Kaali Venkat as Kannan, Sathyaraj as the writer Jyoti Ramaya, and Roshini Haripriyan as Deepika, along with a strong supporting cast. Madras Matinee is produced by Madras Motion Pictures and presented by Dream Warrior Pictures, with music by K C Balasarangan, cinematography by Anand G K, and editing by Satheesh Kumar Samuski. The film is set to release in theatres on June 6, 2025.
