Maaman starring Soori, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Swasika, and child actor Baba Bhaskar is a Tamil movie which released in theaters on May 16, 2025. In the first 10 days of its release, Maaman grossed an impressive Rs. 27.5 Cr. in Tamil Nadu alone. The worldwide collection of Maaman is estimated to be close to Rs. 35 Cr., indicating a decent performance for a film of its category, beyond the home turf.

Maaman with a story written by Soori, and screenplay, direction by Prasanth Pandiyaraj of Vilangu (2022), Bruce Lee (2017) fame, has clicked well in in B and C centres, receiving exceptional reception in small towns and rural areas.
