Thug Life starring Kamal Haasan, Silamabarasan TR, Trisha, among others is a Mani Ratnam directed crime drama that releases in theaters on June 5, 2025. After its first single Jinguchaa—a wedding dance number, Thug Life is currently gearing up for a second single release composed by AR Rahman.

Thug Life second single is titled Sugar Baby, and the song releases on May 21, 2025. Sugar Baby's announcement poster reveals that the track features actress Trisha, who plays Kamal Haasan's illicit lover in the movie. Sugar Baby has lyrics by Siva Ananth.
