In a shocking turn of events, one of the biggest movie theater chain in Chennai, Tamil Nadu has announced that Good Bad Ugly starring Ajith Kumar will not be showcased in their cinema screens. Archana Kalpathi, who is also a well known face in the Tamil film industry as a producer, took to her X handle a few minutes ago to write, 

"After trying for close to a week we are unable to open the bookings for #GoodBadUgly First film of Ajith sir that we are missing at @agscinemas in 18 years. As a company we will continue to stick to our values and support our producers and distributors who have stood by us. Thank you for your patience. Wishing the team all the very best for the film’s success at the box office."

Good Bad Ugly is a production venture of Mythri Movie Makers, and Sakthi Film Factory is the Tamil Nadu distributor of the movie. Also starring Trisha, Simran, Prasanna, Prabhu, Yogi Babu among others, Good Bad Ugly releases in theaters on April 10, 2025.

Archana Kalpathi's tweet has since been deleted, but the website of AGS Cinemas is yet to list Good Bad Ugly for advance bookings.
