Actor Vijay's last film Jana Nayagan is all the buzz right now. After making news for its OTT rights sale to Amazon Prime Video for a price of Rs. 105 Cr. including GST (according to a source from the digital streaming platform side, the widely buzzed Rs. 121 Cr. is an exaggerated number), Jana Nayagan is now making headlines for its satellite rights sale. 

Word in the grapevine is that the Sun TV network is in final negotiations with the makers of Jana Nayagan, over the film's satellite rights. Most likely, Jana Nayagan's satellite rights for the Tamil language will be sold to Sun TV. 

Directed by H Vinoth and produced by KVN productions, Jana Nayagan also stars Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Shruthi Haasan, Priya Mani, Mamitha Baiju, Varalaxsmi Sarathkumar, among others. The movie has Anirudh Ravichander for music, and releases in theaters on January 9, 2026.
