Kannappa is a Telugu language mythological film starring Vishnu Manchu in the lead, and the movie is based on the legend of Kannappa, a devotee of Hindu God Shiva. Kannappa movie is scheduled to release on April 25, 2025.

The film features cameo appearances from star actors like Bollywood's Akshay Kumar who plays Lord Shiva, actress Kajal Aggarwal who plays Goddess Parvathi Devi, Shiva's wife, Mohanlal who plays 'Kirata', widely believed to be a mountain-dwelling incarnation of Shiva, and Prabhas who plays Nandi, guardian bull of Lord Shiva's residence which is the Kailash mountain. 

Of these cameos, Prabhas' look as Nandhi is the only one that remains to be revealed. It has now been officially announced that Prabhas' first look from Kannappa movie will release on February 3, 2025. A production venture of 24 Frames Factory, and AVA Entertainment, Kannappa has story by Paruchuri Gopala Krishna, Eshwar Reddy, G. Nageswara Reddy, Thota Prasad, screenplay by Vishnu Manchu, and is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh.

Kannappa also stars Mohan Babu, Tamil actors Sarath Kumar, Yogi Babu, Karunas, Aishwariyaa Bhaskaran, actresses Preity Mukundhan, Madhoo, among others. The technical crew of Kannappa includes Stephen Devassy for music, Sheldon Chau for cinematography, Anthony Gonsalvez for edits, Prabhu Deva for choreography, and Kecha Khamphakdee for stunts.
